FAQ

Print and mail,
answered

Common questions about minimums, postage, speed and confidentiality.

?
01What is a print and mail service?

A print and mail service prints your document and posts the finished copy on your behalf, in a single order. You upload the file and set the recipient address; printing, packing, envelopes and postage are all handled for you, so nothing is printed, stuffed or stamped at your end.

02Is there a minimum order for print and mail?

No. You can send a single one-page letter. Most traditional print and mail providers require bulk volumes and an account, but printle prices per page with volume discounts applied automatically as the order grows.

03How quickly is mail sent out?

Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are printed and dispatched the same day, with next-day delivery available across the UK.

04Can you mail documents to my customers rather than to me?

Yes. The delivery address is set at checkout and is entirely separate from your billing details, so documents go directly to your client, tenant, member or supplier.

05Do I need an account or a contract?

No. There is no account setup, no contract and no sales process. Upload the document, pay for the order and it goes out.

06How much does a print and mail service cost?

Printing is priced per page, with black & white the cheapest option and with colour priced higher per page. Postage is charged separately and shown at checkout before you pay, and is free on qualifying orders.

07Are my documents kept confidential?

Yes. Files are encrypted end-to-end, accessed only to fulfil your print order, and deleted automatically 90 days after printing.

Print and mail

Print and mail, without the account manager

Print and mail services have traditionally been built for bulk. You open an account, agree a minimum volume, send artwork to a production team and wait. That works for a mailing of ten thousand — it is entirely wrong for a single contract that has to reach a client tomorrow.

printle does the same job without the overhead. You upload the document, choose how it should be printed, enter the recipient's address and pay. We print it, pack it and hand it to Royal Mail. There is no account to open, no minimum quantity and nobody to call.

When a print and mail service makes sense

The service earns its place whenever the paper has to arrive somewhere that is not your desk. Sending a signed contract to a counterparty, posting notices to tenants, mailing invoices to a customer who will not accept email, or getting documents to someone who simply is not online — in each case the printing is incidental and the delivery is the point.

It also solves a quieter problem: capacity. An office printer that jams halfway through eighty letters, or a home with no printer at all, turns a routine mailing into an afternoon. Uploading it removes that entirely.

What you can print and mail

  • Contracts and agreements — posted directly to whoever needs to sign.
  • Invoices and statements — sent to customers who require paper billing.
  • Notices and renewals — tenancy, membership, insurance and statutory notices.
  • HR correspondence — offer letters, contracts and appointment confirmations.
  • Client packs — proposals, reports and onboarding documents.

Pricing without the tender process

Printing starts at {bwFrom} a page in black & white, with colour priced higher, and volume discounts apply automatically as the page count rises. Postage is shown at checkout before you pay and is free on qualifying orders. There is no setup fee and no monthly minimum.
