Colour vs black and white A4
Black & white A4 printing is the right choice for text-led documents: reports, essays, contracts, tenancy agreements, official forms and revision notes. It is the cheapest option per page and the quality is sharp and highly legible.
Colour A4 printing matters when the content carries meaning in the colour itself — presentations, charts and graphs, marketing material, photographs, or anything with a logo or branding. Because options are set per file, a single order can contain a colour presentation and a mono appendix side by side.
Single-sided or double-sided A4
Double-sided printing puts content on both faces of each sheet. For a 100-page document that means 50 sheets rather than 100 — half the paper for the same content, noticeably lighter to post and easier to handle. Single-sided is preferable when pages will be separated, displayed, signed individually, or submitted to an organisation that requires it. If you are printing coursework or a legal document, check the submission requirements before choosing.
